A Cantata for Coleridge, composed by Ann C. Colley, SUNY Distinguished Professor Emerita, will be performed by Tiffany DuMouchelle, soprano; Paul Todaro, actor; and Dr. Anthony Chase, narrator, as part of the fall Musical Feast program. The concert will be held in the auditorium of the Burchfield Penney Art Center at Buffalo State.
The piece celebrates Samuel Taylor Coleridge's beautiful way with words as well as his sensitivity to the nuances of light and movement in the natural world. It brings together passages from the poet's work.
