Tim Bryant received his Ph.D. from the University at Buffalo in 2011 and joined the Buffalo State English Department in 2012. Dr. Bryant teaches courses on American and Native American literature, popular fiction, and film studies. He has published on American literature, Native American literature, speculative fiction, graphic narrative, literary adaptation, and game studies. His current research explores the social history of weird fiction in American culture. From 2002 to 2005, he was a faculty research librarian at the University of Northern Iowa.
