Kim Chinquee is the author of the collections Oh Baby, Pretty, Pistol, Veer, Shot Girls, Wetsuit and Snowdog. Her work has appeared in hundreds of journals and anthologies including NOON, Denver Quarterly, Conjunctions, The Nation, Ploughshares, Fiction, New Micro: Exceptionally Short Fiction, Notre Dame Review, the Pushcart Prize anthologies, and others. She is Chief Editor of ELJ (Elm Leaves Journal), Senior Editor of New World Writing, associate professor--and co-director of the Writing Major--at SUNY-Buffalo State, and serves as AWP (Association of Writers and Writing Programs) Northeast Regional Chair and as a member of the AWP Board of Directors. She grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, served in the medical field in the Air Force; she is a mom, a triathlete, a hiker and mountain biker, and she lives in Tonawanda, NY, with her two dogs.
