Aimee Levesque earned her Master’s in English at Buffalo State College and her Master’s in Library Science, with a concentration in School Library Media, at the University at Buffalo.  She is currently completing her PhD in the Department of Learning and Instruction at the University at Buffalo and her dissertation focuses on arts integration and its impact on improving literacy and writing skills for persons with disabilities.  She recently founded a theater company in WNY - Inclusive Theater of WNY (ITWONY)- that provides persons of all levels of ability with the opportunity to participate in theater. Aimee is also the new Project Manager for the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ASECS), which has recently relocated to Buffalo State. Also, because she clearly does not like sleep, Aimee was just re-appointed to a two-year term on New York State’s Developmental Disabilities Planning Council (DDPC), is Vice-President of the Board of Directors for Ujima Company, Inc., Secretary for the Theatre Alliance of Buffalo (TAB) and in her leisure time (what little there is of it!), she is an avid Comic Con goer and loves to travel
